Simeon (Brecht Simeon Visser, b. 1999) is an Amsterdam-born rapper, singer, and producer whose music blends hip-hop with soulful, introspective tones. For him, music is more than expression, it's therapy, a mirror for self-discovery, and a way to connect deeply with others.

Growing up mostly deaf in his right ear, Simeon spent a lot of time in his own world, and music became both refuge and guide. What started as a personal outlet eventually pushed him toward confidence, honesty, and performing on stages across Europe. He began producing beats as a teenager and went on to curate a YouTube channel that reached over 200,000 subscribers, before fully stepping into his own artistry.

Simeon's grandfather, composer Bert Matter, who created minimal classical works for organ and piano, remains a lasting inspiration. As a child, Simeon would listen to him play in empty churches, and the dedication and authenticity he observed continue to guide him as both a musician and a man.

Having worked with artists such as Bawo, Phundo, and Ray Fuego, and performed in the Netherlands, the UK, France, and Italy, Simeon has steadily carved out his space. His music, rooted in personal growth and authenticity, invites listeners to look inward and connect with their own truths.
